Woosah was founded by Joi Marshall - entrepreneur and multi-platinum recording artist from the legendary R&B group Jade. After years in music, Joi understood something most wellness brands overlook: frequency heals. Words heal. Music heals.
When Joi searched for a music-based wellness app rooted in Black culture, she found nothing. Not because Black wellness apps don't exist - but because no one had built for the healing power of music and sound specifically for us.
So she built it.
Woosah carries the same understanding of frequency, vibration, and sonic healing that has lived inside Black music for generations - because a Black woman who has felt the healing power of music firsthand decided our community deserved to feel it too.
