Bookroid reopens your phone as a single book.

• Your home screen is a table of contents. Apps appear as chapters, gathered into parts.
• The page is printed on a paper stock of your choosing — bright white, natural, aged, newsprint, washi, kraft or cardboard. Each is told apart by its grain, not by its colour.
• Your pages are finite. The book is bound with a library of 1,500 pages, and every screen you open spends from it. When the library runs low, you can extend it — or simply read less.
• Nothing scrolls on by itself. Every page is turned by you.
• Letters — your notifications arrive as a single digest you can answer in place.
• Bookmarks — select a passage you were reading and keep it; read it again inside the book.
• Browser search — what you look up appears as a plain page bound into the book.
• Reading record — look back on how your reading adds up, week by week.

A finite reading experience, in an age of infinite scroll.

What’s new

Chapters now open even after you have spent all your pages. They take a little longer to turn, but the book never shuts on you.
