About this app

Count down the days until your vacation with a trip countdown widget on your home screen, a photo slideshow of the getaway you're dreaming about, and a packing list you can print or share.

Vacation Countdown is made for any trip: a beach week, a road trip, a cruise, a family reunion, a honeymoon or a long weekend away.

SHARE A MINI COUNTDOWN WITH YOUR TRAVEL CREW
Send a mini countdown in a text or group chat so everyone going on the trip can watch the days drop with you.

VACATION COUNTDOWN WIDGET
Put the countdown widget anywhere on your home screen, resize it to fit, and see how many days until vacation every time you pick up your phone.

DESIGN YOUR MINI COUNTDOWN
Start with a favorite photo, then pick the font, text size and where the numbers sit. Show or hide "Days Left," and adjust the text background's size and opacity so it stays easy to read over any picture. Finish it with a text and circle color from 33 choices.

VACATION PACKING LIST
Begin with a ready-made packing checklist covering toiletries, electronics, travel days, little kids and your daily bag, then add your own items so nothing gets left behind.

PRINT OR SHARE YOUR LIST
Turn your packing list into a full-page PDF to print, email or share, so the whole family packs from the same list.

PHOTO SLIDESHOW ON YOUR WIDGET
Choose from dozens of built-in vacation photos, or add your own, like last summer's sunset or the hotel you just booked. Let the widget rotate them as often as every minute or as slowly as once a day, or keep one favorite in place.

FULL-SCREEN SLIDESHOW
Play your trip photos full screen with the days left showing, and set each photo to stay up anywhere from one second to a full day.
