About this app

atSite records when your people start and finish work, and confirms they are at the workplace when they do. It replaces the paper register, the WhatsApp message and the honest guess at the end of the month.

Built in South Africa, for South African employers.

WHY IT EXISTS

A paper register records what someone writes down. A clock machine records two moments in a nine hour day. Neither tells you whether the person was actually on
site and neither helps when a shift is disputed at the end of the month.

atSite records the times, confirms the location and shows you the day as it happened.

HOW IT WORKS

1. You share a six character join code. Staff download the app, enter the code, set a PIN and appear on your team screen for approval.
2. They hold the button to clock in. The time is recorded and the location is checked against the boundary you set for that site.
3. You see the day as it happens on your phone or in the web portal.

No hardware. No installation. No training day.

FOR YOUR STAFF

Monitoring only works if the team accepts it, so the app is built to be explained rather than hidden.

- Recording starts at clock in and stops at clock out. Evenings, weekends and days off collect nothing at all.
- Managers see on site or away from site, and the time that changed. Not a route and not a movement history.
- The Face ID or fingerprint check happens on the phone. We only learn that the phone accepted it.
- A position check is a few hundred bytes, so a full shift uses less data than opening one web page.

We publish a plain language notice you can hand to your team before you start, which is what the Protection of Personal Information Act asks of you.

WHO IT IS FOR

Construction sites, security companies, cleaning services, warehouses, farms, logistics depots, manufacturing, retail chains, facilities management and events staffing. Anywhere the team does not sit at a desk.

WHAT WE DO NOT PROMISE

Location readings are approximate. Mobile networks, satellite positioning and phone operating systems are outside our control and a phone that is off, without signal, or without permission will not report. Treat a reading as evidence to weigh, not as proof of where someone stood. Keep your own records too, as the law requires of you.
