Ratings and reviews

The app might be useful for people who want to enter into beer brewing competitions. Otherwise, it's far too much work to be worth the effort. For example, it demands specific information about the malted barley that I couldn't even get from the manufacturer. That makes it very hard to use. I can't even fill out the details about final gravity and stuff like that without plugging in the grain father and connecting to it. Also, I don't appreciate the demand for full time location permissions.

Lost track of my fermenter when it updated. Last time I was able to set it up again. This time no device found. The brewing section makes lots of assumptions about your brewing process. Can't do a Papazian style mini mash for example. Or a Norwegian farmhouse ale or a Lithuanian baked beer. Would be better if much simpler. The ingredients/style calculator is good. so one extra star for that.

Is there anyway we can revert to the previous version? The Bluetooth connection keeps dropping off you walk more than a couple of meters away, then doesn't always reconnect properly. Then it 'forgets' your brewing session which makes the app useless (the reminders to drop hops in, switch things in etc was what made the app really useful). I loved my connect before, now i may as well use my old controller. Please, please, please fix.
