The FNB Banking App embraces the future of help and our new look and feel will do just that
Some features to look out for:

Simple straight-forward navigation – We’ve added bottom navigation to make it easier to find what you need, when you need it.
Switch users easily – Multiple profiles? No problem! Switch seamlessly between different user profiles by selecting profiles located on the bottom navigation and then select “switch user”.
Introducing the Action Panel – Bringing your banking features front and center, like payments, transfers, my cards, and cash withdrawals.
Chat Pay – A revolutionary new feature called Chat Pay that allows you to pay any FNB customer via a simple chat, all within FNB’s secure ecosystem giving you peace of mind that the person you are paying has been verified and approved. It’s that simple.

What is Pay?
We have renamed Payments to Pay. This feature will provide you with access to categories within payments such as pay, receive, pay bills, payment settings, and payment history.

What is Secure Messaging?
Chat to other FNB/RMB customers securely on the App by granting access to your contact list. Features within Secure Messaging include Chat Pay, voice notes, attachments, share location, etc.

This new version is tasteless and bland, lacking soul and instead opting for "streamlined modernity." Which might not have been an issue if the functionality were up to scratch. But nay, while simultaneously eradicating the 'feel' of the old app, they introduced a plethora of performance problems. The app is sluggish and slow, and most infuriating of all is that essentially every second action I wish to perform is met with a "system unavailable" screen, forcing one to restart the app. 0/5 stars.

Pls enhance your ewallet functionality for the sender, not the receiver. With ABSA you can resend, cancel and view history (NB). With FNB you can send, that's it! I've had a few instances when the SMS's don't go through or the recipient's phone dies or it was the wrong number with NO WAY to resend, reshare, change, cancel or even see if you sent it to the right number besides if you go to your messages. You shd be able to view the history and resend/reshare and cancel. Look at ABSA's, it's great

Hi Carlyn, thank you for sharing your concerns. Please note that the sender of the eWallet can reverse, resend and view history on our eWallet services via cellphone banking (*120*321#). If you send to an incorrect number, you can reverse via cellphone banking and send to the correct number. RB

The user interface is laid out illogically. The error messages are misleading to the point where it has actually cost me lots of time and money. As of last year, I am now required to input my card details every time I pay a beneficiary, even though my cards and recipients are saved to the app, which defeats the goal of convenience. There are tons of bugs that drive me insane. It may sound drastic but this app is the main reason I will be leaving FNB.
