Welcome in 2016 almost 2017 Fantastic! it looks like something android would wear, the menu layouts are far better, nice clean looking and easy to navigate dash, all other features in well organized drawer tab, no double navigation paths, the log in process was smooth, a big HELP button on the dash++++ This is a very good foundation to work from, it also seems to display accurate bill and balance info. Still buggy in places, only shows one of my sims but sometimes both, why?, beats me
John THIS IS THE WORSE AND NON-SENSICAL APP: IT DOES NOT WORK WITHOUT INTERNET!!!!! IF U DON'T HAVE DATA U CAN'T BUY DATA OR CHECK UR BALANCE OR DO ANYTHING ELSE. IT MEANS THAT U MUST DIAL *111# STILL. SÓ, WHAT IS USE OF THIS APP? IT WOULD HAVE BEEN VERY USEFUL IF YOU COULD CHECK YOUR BALANCE OR BUY DATA OR AIRTIME WITHOUT INTERNET. THIS APP SHOULD BE ABLE TO WORK WITHOUT HAVING DATA AS MUCH AS U DON'T NEED DATA TO BUY DATA OR AIRTIME OR CHECK YOUR BALANCE ETC.
Sighhh... Another rewrite focused on pretty graphics, Vodacom? Really? Don't you understand people primarily want information from your app & they want it quickly, cleanly & reliably. You've actually removed functionality from this app & given me a huge protea to distract me from the app's mediocrity. Sies! Just give us a clean, simple app that gives people what they need instantly & easily please. And your blerry widget doesn't work properly now. Thanks Vodacom... situation normal it seems...!
These are a few of the most irritating things: 1. It takes too long to load. 2. The small widget does not update and the bigger widget that can update has a miniscule refresh button with huge, red BUY buttons. The whole point of the widget is to display the most wanted information without having to go into the slow app. Trying to tap the miniscule refresh button almost always results in the app loading. It is frustrating. If I want to buy then I will go into the app.
Struggling My main mobile device is from another service provider, however I have a Vodacom mobile WiFi and I cannot view the balances as the app does not allow for it. Keeps getting confused between the Vodacom cell number I actually want the balances for and my other service providers'. For the OTP. Please allow for the password login upfront and not only the OTP.
I like the redesign, but the balance widget does not work. It keeps saying I must log into the app for my balances to appear. This is a Vodacom contract phone on the network, authenticated and logged in. Why can it not get my balances automatically? If I want to log into the app I would not use a widget, I would go to the app. Surely a widget is there to circumvent the hassle of logging into an app.
