**edited to add a star because I appreciate the polite developer comment** I bought the paid version, mostly because you can't even try free version because of the intrusive ads every time you click on a setting option, and I had some Google credit. For a paid app, though, I would expect to be able to pick any color, not just your very limited palette, and I expect to be able to upload my own background patterns. I'll update my stars when you fix the disappointments.

I really liked this app for its ability to put a transparent clock on my home screen. So I decided to support the devs and purchase pro. the moment I upgraded, it completely stopped working. the app crashes the moment I try to open it and is now useless.

So happy I decided to get the premium version the free version was fine, it keeps time perfectly despite me blocking it's network access. It's also the first app I've found where the seconds actually updates every second. With plenty of customization options and a very light footprint on system resources, I'll recommend this app all day long.
