The Zscaler Client Connector for Android includes both Zscaler Internet Access and Zscaler Private Access modules.
Note: This app uses the Device Administrator permission and also uses VpnService for securing network connections

Zscaler Client Connector automatically creates a lightweight HTTP tunnel that connects the user’s endpoint to Zscaler’s cloud security platform with no need for PAC files or authentication cookies. The Zscaler Cloud Service delivers one-step enrollment, with multifactor authentication support via SAML.

Zscaler Client Connector uses few special permission for QUERY_ALL_PACKAGES for securing the application and applying few rules to the traffic.
Application Uses VpnService for securing network on the device by creating encrypted tunnel to with zero touch fundamentals.

Im forced to use this POS for work. It's terrible. ever since we've gotten this app it has been terrible. this VPN has constant connection issues. requiring multiple restarts and reconnect to the VPN. horrible, if you work in IT and looking for a good VPN, this ain't it.

blocks payment apps, somehow goes into enter password on app again, bit suspicious..

Easily the worst VPN app, probably the worst android app, I've ever used. Aside from the expected hang ups and crashes (which are numerous), the app will occasionally fail completely silently. As in, you diagnose the problem by uninstalling zscaler and seeing if your other apps work. Oh yeah, zscaler crashes affect ~any and all other processes on your phone. And you can't disable zscaler - you have to uninstall it. 0 stars if I could.
