CARD-DRIVEN GAMEPLAY
Through the Ages is a card-driven, turn-based board game that gives you countless options on what to do and how to play.
Thanks to the pool of hundreds of cards, every game is unique, allowing you to build a mighty civilization.

PLAY SOLO OR ONLINE
You can play against AI-driven world leaders with various difficulties, or you can jump into online games against other players.
Thanks to the ELO system, the game will find you opponents of the same level as you are.
Clash with them and discover whose strategy leads to victory.
You can also participate in some of the many championships, including the official World Championship in Through the Ages.

PLENTY OF CHALLENGES
The game offers more than 30 challenges that change the winning conditions or rules, so you must adapt your strategy to lead your civilization to victory.

Ratings and reviews

Great port of the board game. Much easier to play than the actual board game due to automation and so far competent AI. However out of six games that I started was able to finish only one. During the colonization PASS action isnt recognized, which is a game breaking bug. Will update rating if/when bug is fixed. (Update) Switched from board to digital rules, the game hasn't crashed so far. Updated: bug has been fixed. 5 Stars and then some.

Absolute perfection. This is a beautiful port from the table top version, and actually helps clarify any rules you may be unsure of. Turns are streamlined very nicely, so it makes this fairly complicated game move smoothly. And the undo button is exactly what this game needs. Edit: my only criticism would be the achievements. It tells your progress, but not what's needed to finish. For example, I've won games with 21/24 leaders. No idea who I'm missing though.

Absolutely fantastic port. Great tutorial that gets you started if you haven't played (I hadn't). The controls are easy and intuitive, the game itself flows so smoothly. One great touch is if you attempt to do something that you can't currently do it will explain why - makes it so easy to pick things up. My favorite board game adaption, hands down.
