Authenticator by KeepSolid is a code generator used to prove your identity in the service protected by two-factor authentication (also known as TFA or 2FA). After you connect the two services, in the authenticator app, you will be able to generate time-based one-time passwords (TOTP) and enter them into the services with 2-step verification.

Ratings and reviews

Great start to this app. While it appears, some have issues with niche services I am able to add plenty of mainstream things without issue. More features can definitely be added. While the app looks great and functions great, combining Passwarden and Authenticator together in the future would be the best avenue. Most password managers do have both of these under the same roof. You could take your entire Authenticator app and make it a sub-section in Passwarden on the side menu.

Not sure about this app. I pay for mono defense which this appears to be a part of. My account is lifetime. I'm just not sure this app keeps notifying me constantly non-stop can't turn the notifications off. It does not work with everything out there there's some things that won't allow this authenticator to be used such as CoinBase. If anything it needs a lot more work.

This app is fantastic. Everyone needs and should use 2FA on accounts to keep them secure. This is quicker and easier than using a text code. The code changes every 30 seconds and your account information can be secured with your fingerprint or face unlock. This app is nicely designed and simple to use. Another great app from Keep solid
