A: No. All your hidden files are stored on your device. So when switching to a new device, please make sure to restore your files and copy them to the new device.

Q: Why doesn't it work on my device?
A: The app should work fine on almost all the devices. If it doesn't work on your device, that's probably caused by the restriction of a specific Android version. In that case, you can go to the Settings of this app and disable the 'Fast Mode' option and then it should work fine.

Q: I hided some files and uninstalled this app, will my hidden files get lost?
A: No. The hidden files are still stored secretly and safely somewhere on your device and you can install this app again any time when you want to restore them. NOTHING WILL GET LOST!

Ratings and reviews

After I hide the files in a folder then all the files were gone.. Even after unhide, when I checked using file manager apps, the folder is empty and the original files are gone, also no files in .hider extension in .hermit/recovery_area folder...it worked in previous version..now my pictures are gone..sad..sad..very bad...please make it better because this is pro (paid) version

adds a .hider to all files you add the first time then makes it so you can't restore unless you grant sketchy permissions last app version worked the same and is the same any thought of an upgrade is a joke.(update) I uninstalled the app but eventualy with the help of my PC I found the missing files, only way to get the back is to -manually remove the .hider or .hermit file extension from the name- the feedback is appreciated and was very helpful

My previous folder hide gone unrestore and also many other folder dissapear, dissapointed. I am using redmi note 8 and OS Android 10. And folder that admin said mnt/sdcard/.hermit bla bla bla can not find it. This apps used to be good but now 1 star too good. Until Aug 11th, nothing changes, apps is not running on redmi note 8. Poor.
