Set a daily walking target, choose how many steps unlock a minute, and pick the apps you want to scroll less. As you walk, Stroll turns your steps into earned time for those chosen apps.

When your earned time runs out, Stroll gently pauses the app before it opens, giving you a simple moment to step away instead of falling into another scroll.

How it works:

3. Pick the apps you want to scroll less

5. Use chosen apps more intentionally

Health Connect:
Stroll uses Health Connect to read your step count. This lets Stroll calculate earned screen time from your walking activity. Stroll only requests step data needed for this feature.

Activity Recognition:
If Health Connect is connected but does not have step data yet, Stroll may ask for Activity Recognition permission. This lets Stroll count steps from this phone so your earned time can start today. Stroll uses this only for step counting.

Usage Access:
Stroll uses Usage Access to measure time spent in the apps you choose. This helps Stroll subtract used time from your earned screen time.

Accessibility Service:
- Stroll uses Android Accessibility Service only to detect when one of your chosen apps opens and show the blocker when your earned time is used up.
- Stroll does not use Accessibility Service to read your screen, messages, passwords, payment details, or anything you type. This permission is used only for app blocking.
- Android's Accessibility Services API are used for detecting which website you are on and, in turn, blocking the websites you have requested to block. Enabling the Accessibility Service also improves the reliability of our usage limits.
