Naow — Return to the present moment

A free mindfulness meditation app for Android. No subscription, no account, no ads — ever. Just a quiet companion to help you pause, breathe, and come back to yourself, again and again, throughout your day.

Whether you're building a daily mindfulness habit or deepening an existing practice, Naow gives you everything you need without asking anything in return.

Mindful Reminders
Gentle mindfulness notifications at your chosen interval, each carrying a spiritual quote from teachers across traditions — Rumi, Thich Nhat Hanh, Marcus Aurelius, Lao Tzu, Ramana Maharshi, and many more. Set your own interval, quiet hours, and notification sounds — including custom tones from your device.

Meditation Timer
A clean, distraction-free meditation timer with ambient sounds and multiple bell options. Choose your duration or sit in open meditation with no time limit. Enable a start bell, a midpoint reminder to gently bring you back, or both. Begin with a single breath.

Breathing Exercises
Guided breathing patterns with animated visual guidance and audio cues: Box breathing, 4–7–8 relaxation, Cardiac coherence, Nadi Shodhana, and fully custom patterns you define yourself.

Daily Mindfulness Practice
A seed of wisdom, a reflection question, and a micro-practice to carry into your day — drawn from 25+ contemplative traditions including Zen, Stoicism, Sufism, Taoism, and Advaita Vedanta.

Intentions
Each morning, set a word, quality, or commitment to carry through your day and return to whenever you feel scattered.

Gratitude
A simple daily prompt to notice what's good — three things, every day.

Journaling
A private space to write freely, prompted by a fresh question each day.

Practice Schedule
Design your own daily rhythm — choose specific times for your practices and receive reminders to stay consistent.

Practice Calendar
Track your streak, total meditation minutes, and weekly activity at a glance. See your progress grow, one day at a time.

Naow is built by a mindfulness instructor who needed this tool for his own practice — and decided to share it with everyone.
