YOUR CALORIE TARGET, MEASURED RATHER THAN CALCULATED

Every other tracker sets your daily calories from a formula: height, weight, age, and an activity level you picked from a dropdown. It is a population average, it can be hundreds of calories wrong for any individual, and it never finds out.

usnapit measures you instead. After two or three weeks it solves what your body actually burns from your own intake against your own weight trend - real numbers, from your own log, using the arithmetic that makes weight change in the first place. It shows every figure it used, and one tap adopts it as your target.

Not a better formula. No formula.

Point your camera at your plate, or your glass, and usnapit tells you the calories, protein, carbs and fat and puts it in your log. No database search, no weighing, no guessing which of nine hundred entries for "chicken salad" is yours.

FOUR WAYS TO LOG A MEAL OR A DRINK

Snap it. Take a photo and get calories, macros, fiber, sugar and sodium, broken down item by item so you can fix anything that looks wrong. A drink counts as much as a plate: a flat white, a smoothie, a glass of wine.

Say it. No photo? Describe what you ate in plain words and let usnapit do the portion arithmetic.

Scan it. A barcode is looked up in Open Food Facts, an open product database - published figures rather than an AI estimate, and never counted against your free estimates.

Read a menu. Snap a restaurant menu and get an estimate for every dish before you order, with prices converted to your home currency if you are abroad.

Had it before? One tap repeats it.

Every snap is kept beside its meal, so scrolling back through a week shows what you actually ate.

NUMBERS THAT MEAN SOMETHING

Your real budget, with its working shown. Days measured, days logged, average intake, weight change, and the figure they produce. A number that tells you what to eat should be one you can argue with. It reads the last eight weeks, so it describes the body you have now.

Your weight trend, smoothed. Weight swings a kilo a day on water alone, and watching the raw number is how people quit over nothing.

Eight dietary considerations: GLP-1, gastric bypass, diabetic, keto, low-carb, high-protein, carnivore and DASH. Pick up to three and usnapit blends them. They shift your macro split and your sodium, sugar and water targets, never your calorie total.

A week view and a monthly heatmap. What you averaged, how many days landed on budget, which way the weight went.

Alcohol, counted honestly. Seven calories a gram, and it never shows up in a macro split, so it is the easiest thing to lose track of.

HEALTH CONNECT, OR NOT

Optional and off until you turn it on. Connect Health Connect and usnapit reads your weight and the energy you actually burned, and builds your target from that instead of an activity level you guessed at. It averages the last seven days, so your target is steady from the moment you wake rather than climbing as you move. A weight you type here is written back; nothing else is.

No watch? Type your weight and active calories by hand. Everything works either way.

HONEST ABOUT WHAT IT IS

Estimates from a photograph are not measurements. Portion sizes, hidden oils and cooking methods all move the real number, so treat every figure as a good guide and correct anything that looks off. Every item is editable.

usnapit is not a medical device and gives no medical or dietary advice. Talk to a doctor or dietitian before making significant changes to how you eat.

SEVEN DAYS, THEN YOURS TO KEEP

usnapit opens with seven days of everything - no card, nothing to cancel.

After that it is free forever: type meals in, scan barcodes, weigh in, keep your whole history, your trends, reminders and streaks, plus ten AI estimates.

Pro is what measures you: unlimited AI estimates, Health Connect, and a calorie target from what you actually burn. $6.99 a month or $70.99 a year.

Snap it. Log it. Done.
