Index HR puts your workday in your pocket. Clock in and out, request leave, check your balance, log timesheets and view payslips — without paperwork, spreadsheets or chasing HR.

Built for organisations that want attendance, leave and payroll in one connected system, Index HR gives every employee self-service access to their own records, and gives managers what they need to run their team from anywhere.

FOR EMPLOYEES

• Clock in and out — Check in from your assigned work site, with location verification so attendance is recorded accurately and fairly.

• Leave requests — Submit full-day or hourly leave in a few taps, choose your reason, and see exactly how many working days it will use before you send it.

• Leave balance — See your entitlement, what you have used and what remains, broken down by leave type.

• Timesheets — Log your hours against projects and activities, with notes.

• Payslips — View your payslips with a full breakdown of earnings and deductions.

• Announcements — Keep up with company news and revisit it any time.

FOR MANAGERS

• Approve or reject your team's leave requests, with balances visible as you decide.

• Review team attendance and spot gaps at a glance.

• Check team timesheets and logged hours.

• See your team's schedule for the week ahead.

WHY TEAMS USE INDEX HR

• Accurate attendance — Geofenced clock-in means hours are recorded where the work actually happened.

• Fair leave counting — Working days are calculated from each employee's own schedule, so weekends and days off are never deducted from a leave balance.

• Transparent payroll — Employees can see how their pay was calculated, which cuts down payroll queries.

• Works the way your company does — Weekends, working hours, leave types and entitlements all follow your organisation's own configured policies.

BUILT FOR WORK

• Sign in with your company Microsoft account, or with the credentials your employer issued.

• Full dark mode support.

• Clean, fast interface designed for one-handed use.

ABOUT PERMISSIONS

• Location — Used only at the moment you clock in or out, to confirm you are at an approved work site. Index HR does not track your location in the background, and does not record your movements between clock-in events.

IMPORTANT

Index HR requires an account provided by your employer. This is not a standalone service — your organisation must be an Index HR customer for you to sign in. If you are unsure whether your company uses Index HR, please check with your HR team.

PRIVACY

Your data belongs to your employer, who decides what is held about you. Index HR processes it on their behalf. We do not sell personal information and we do not use it for advertising.
