Played by the rules you actually use. Twenty-one classic card, board and puzzle games in one app — set to the rules your table actually plays by, running entirely offline with no ads and no account.

WHY FIRESIDE

Most classic-game apps pick one rule set and stick to it. Fireside doesn't: before the deal, you choose the house rules — whether the jack of diamonds counts in Hearts, how many times you may turn the stock in Klondike, how a canasta is built — in plain language, not buried in a settings menu. Four difficulty levels are offered on every game with an opponent, and each one is described by what it actually does, not just labeled Easy or Hard.

THE GAMES

Solitaire: Klondike, Spider, FreeCell, TriPeaks, Pyramid, Golf
Card games: Hearts, Spades, Oh Hell!, Gin Rummy, Hand and Foot, Canasta, Pinochle, Bridge, Cribbage, Euchre, Sheepshead
Board games: Checkers, Backgammon, Chess
Puzzle: Sudoku (five difficulty levels, always exactly one solution, never a guess required)

Klondike, Hearts, Checkers and Sudoku are free forever, at every difficulty. The other seventeen — including regional favorites other apps skip, like Sheepshead, Pinochle and Hand and Foot — unlock with a subscription or a one-time purchase.

WHAT MAKES IT DIFFERENT

• Your table's rules. 31 variants and 37 house-rule settings across 18 games, explained before you play.
• Difficulty you can trust. Each of the four levels says what it does — "doesn't track what you hold" is the Easy setting, not a guess.
• A chess engine built for this app. Opening book, alpha-beta search with quiescence, and four levels that actually play differently.
• Rules you can read mid-hand. Every one of the 21 games has a plain-English rules sheet, one tap away from the table.
• Nothing leaves your phone. No account, no sign-in, no analytics, no ad SDK. Play a full hand in airplane mode.
• Statistics kept per game and per difficulty, stored on the device, and deletable any time.

HOW IT'S PRICED

The app and four games are free, always. Unlocking the rest of the catalog costs a monthly subscription, an annual subscription, or a one-time lifetime purchase — your choice, no pressure. Cancel a subscription any time from Play Store › Payments & subscriptions.

YOUR PRIVACY

Fireside has no server. There is no account to create and nothing about how you play is ever uploaded. The only time the app touches the network at all is to check a purchase with Google Play.
