"How big was this plant this time last year?" When you see a plant every day, it is hard to tell how much it has grown.

PlantSince keeps a growth record of your plants from the photos you take. The moment you take a picture, its date and time become the record, and the list shows how many days it has been since your last photo of each plant.

Compare any two photos
Once a plant has two or more photos, pick any two and see them side by side, with the number of days between them shown in large type. Before and after repotting, last spring and this spring - put them next to each other and see the difference.

Share the comparison as an image
Turn the comparison into a single image and send it to social media or a chat. Two formats are free: a portrait one for feeds (3:4) and one for stories (9:16). Square, landscape, and Pinterest formats come with Premium. Choose a white or black background, whichever suits your photos.

How recording works
Take a photo, pick a category and a plant, and save. You only type a name the first time you add a plant; after that, take a photo and choose the plant from the list. You can also import existing photos from your device in bulk, and if a photo has its shooting date (Exif), that date is used for the record.

Sort by type or by place
When you start, choose whether to group your plants by type or by where they live. By type, there are 16 built-in categories such as foliage plants, succulents, cacti, caudex plants, bonsai, herbs, vegetables, and fruit trees. By place, there are 10, such as the living room, bedroom, balcony, garden, and vegetable patch. Pick only the ones you need, and add more categories whenever you like.

Tag watering, repotting, and more
Add any of 17 built-in tags - Water, Mist, Fertilizer, Repot, Prune, New growth, Bloom, Pests, and others - and put several on one photo. Filter by a tag to see, for example, only the photos from the days you repotted. You can also add a memo or fix the date and time of a record later.

See elapsed days at a glance
Each plant shows how many days have passed since its last photo. Sort by most or fewest days, or search by name. Records older than a year also show a rough figure such as "≈1y 2mo".

No notifications
There are no watering reminders or alerts. Open the app when you think of it, take a photo, and that is your record.

Your photos stay on your device
You can start without creating an account, and there are no ads. Photos and records are stored on your device and are not added to your phone's gallery. Photos are saved at up to 2560px on the long side, enough for sharing. For a device switch, Premium adds an optional backup to your own Google Drive.

Colors
Choose from 6 base colors for the whole app. When your device is in dark mode, the app switches to a dark theme too.

What is free
Create as many categories as you like; each category holds up to 3 plants for free. You can create up to 3 tags of your own, and two share formats are free. Premium (monthly or yearly) removes the plant limit per category and the custom tag limit, opens all 5 share formats, and adds Google Drive backup. If you cancel, your existing records and photos are kept.
