Timbre turns what you say into written notes, filed and easy to find. An idea on a walk, a list while driving, a debrief on your way out of a meeting: you talk, Timbre writes.

DICTATE FROM ANYWHERE
A bubble stays within thumb's reach over your other apps. Press and hold to dictate straight into today's note; tap to choose the note or folder. The text appears while you speak.

NEVER LOST
Every recording is saved on your phone before it is transcribed. With no signal, your dictations wait and go out by themselves when the connection is back, even if the app is closed.

NOTES, FILED
Notes sort into folders, get an automatic title and can be found with search, down to the text of each take. Every take keeps its audio: you can listen again, fix it or move it. Timbre can also clean up each take, without the hesitations and repetitions. Attach a photo, a file or a link to a note.

SUMMARY AND ANALYSIS
In one tap, a note becomes a clear summary organized by theme, with its decisions and open questions. The analysis spots what there is to do, things to buy, appointments and ideas, and you add what you keep to your task list.

TASKS AND REMINDERS
Give a task a date and a time: Timbre reminds you right on time, and earlier if you like. From the notification, check it off or snooze it for an hour.

YOUR NOTES STAY WITH YOU
Your notes and your audio are kept on your phone. For transcription, the audio goes through our server, which does not keep it, then to a European transcription service. Your Google account is only used to identify you. Full backup on the phone or to your Google Drive, export to readable text, a thirty-day trash.

TRY, THEN CHOOSE
Ten minutes of dictation are free, with every feature. After that, three monthly plans with no commitment, depending on how much you dictate. Your notes stay readable and editable whatever happens.
