Fabora puts 27 fabrication and welding tools in one app: a steel and metal weight calculator, weld settings and a weld fault finder, a rebar calculator, cat ladder (fixed ladder) and ship ladder design, a stair stringer calculator, steel and lifting beams, tank volume, pipe offsets and PCD or bolt circle layouts. Built for fabricators, welders and pipe fitters. The calculators work offline, no account needed.

FREE TOOLS
Free, no time limit: steel and metal weight, unit converter, tank volume (capacity and dip chart), rebar take-off, weld fault finder, duty cycle and plug check, gas bottle, section library, screen ruler and angle finder.

CALCULATE
- Steel weight calculator: plate, bar, tube and sections in steel, stainless, aluminium, copper, nickel or titanium
- Steel beam calculator: the three lightest beams that work, metric or kips, 3D bending, walkway loads and a lifting beam tab
- Unit converter: dimensions, loads, stress and welding units
- Press brake calculator: bend allowance, K factor, tonnage and flat length, with gauge entry
- Tank volume calculator: box, cylinder and cone-bottom tanks with dip charts
- Rebar calculator: free slab and wall take-off, and cut lengths for bent bars by your region's rules

WELDING
- Welding calculator: starting amps, wire, gas and heat input for MIG, TIG, stick (MMA) and FCAW, metric or inch
- Weld fault finder: 16 weld defects and machine faults, drawn, with causes and fixes
- Duty cycle and plug check: weld time at your amps, and whether your supply can run it
- Gas bottle: how long argon, mix or CO2 lasts, the flow to set and cost per hour

OPTIMISE & NEST
- Stock cutting optimiser: least offcut, with straight and mitred lengths in one list
- Plate nesting: parts on plates and sheets with yield, weight and cost
- Offcut store: log offcuts and use them first

DEVELOP & LAY OUT
- Pipe offset calculator: travel, run and cut length for simple and rolling offsets
- Flat pattern: cones, cylinders, square to round and tube notching in 3D, 1:1 DXF and PDF
- PCD and flange holes: bolt circle layout, hole spacing and a live 1:1 drawing
- Arc calculator: radius, angle, chord, rise or length from any two
- Baluster and divider: even spacing, clear gaps and a mark-out list
- Stair stringer calculator: straight-flight set-out for five regions, drawing, DXF and PDF
- Cat ladder designer (fixed ladder in the US): rung set-out, cage, drawings, cut list and PDF, plus ship ladders, checked against selected rules for six regions or, where a region has none, labelled borrowed practice

QUOTE & COST
- Price sheet and quote: cost a job, mark it up and send a branded quote PDF
- Quote book: quotes by month, won or lost, with win rate and profit

FABORA PRO
Pro is a monthly or annual subscription through Google Play, starting with a 7-day free trial. It unlocks the other 17 tools, plus rebar cut and bend and tank sizing. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; manage or cancel any time in Google Play.

Weld, duty cycle and gas figures are starting points. Beam, lifting beam, ladder and rebar results are planning checks, not a certificate. A ladder that "passes selected checks" passed the checks the tool runs. Confirm with a competent person or engineer where required.
