Sidetake is where you book real mentors for real 1-on-1 conversations.
No pre-recorded courses. No generic advice threads. Sidetake connects you directly with
experienced creative professionals — brand designers, motion designers, UX and product designers,
photographers, and content creators — for focused one-to-one sessions about your work, your
process, and your career.
SEE HOW MENTORS ACTUALLY THINK
Every mentor on Sidetake builds a complete profile board before they take a single session. You
don't just see a name and a headline — you see how they work:
• Philosophy — their creative approach, key principles, and the one insight they want you to take
away
• Workflow — how they actually structure a project, stage by stage, with real hour breakdowns
from referencing to review
• App Stack — the exact tools they use at every stage of their process
• Rules & Tags — the focus rules they live by and the expertise areas they mentor in
• Bio & Story — who they are, what they teach, and who they mentor best
If a mentor's way of thinking resonates with you, that's your signal to book.
BOOK A 1-ON-1 SESSION
Found the right mentor? Send a session request with your topic and a short message about what
you're working on and where you're stuck. The mentor reviews it personally and approves the
session — then it's just the two of you, one conversation, fully focused on your work.
Ask the questions a course can never answer:
• "Is my portfolio actually ready?"
• "How do you split time between research and execution?"
• "How do I move from hourly work to project-based pricing?"
• "What would you change about this identity system?"
GET A PERSPECTIVE, NOT A LECTURE
A Sidetake session is a conversation, not a webinar. Mentors give you their honest take on your
work across the domains they know deeply — branding, motion, UX, photography, and content —
grounded in the exact workflows and principles published on their board.
A CURATED, INVITE-ONLY MENTOR COMMUNITY
Mentors don't just sign up — they're reviewed and issued credentials by the Sidetake team. Every
mentor board you see belongs to a verified, practicing professional. Quality of perspective is
the whole point.
