Studio Baton is simple studio management for private music teachers — students, lesson notes, homework, attendance, invoices and payments, in one place instead of spread across a spreadsheet, a notebook, and a text thread.

Made by a teacher, for teachers.

WHAT MAKES IT DIFFERENT

Most lesson apps charge a flat monthly rate and leave the counting to you. Studio Baton counts the calendar.

Five-week months bill five lessons, four-week months bill four. Move a lesson into next month and the bill moves with it. Cancel one and it asks you there and then: roll the fee over, or waive it?

FREE — RUN YOUR OWN STUDIO

Student profiles
Instrument, lesson days and times, lesson length, start date, school and grade, parent contact — one card you can pull up in seconds. A student can have as many lessons a week as they take, each at its own time.

Lesson notes, homework, and attendance
Log what you covered and this week's practice assignment after every lesson.

Calendar
Your whole month at a glance, each day's lessons listed inline. Drag a lesson to another day to move just that week — the regular schedule stays put.

Lesson timer
Start a lesson and get a countdown, with a chime five or ten minutes before the end, so you finish on time without watching the clock.

Reminders
Your lessons each morning, and a nudge before every one.

Payments
Received, pending and rolled over, with how much of the month you have collected. Tap a figure to see exactly which families it covers.

Invoices
Send one student's, or the whole studio's in one go. Print or share as a PDF.

Trial lessons
Add a one-off lesson for someone not on your roster yet. If they stay, convert them to a full student in one tap.

Free for up to 5 students. No card, no trial period.

PRO — BRING YOUR FAMILIES IN

Family accounts and chat
Parents get their own view of lessons, notes, and what is due — and a chat thread with you, instead of scattered texts.

Join with a Studio Code, or an enrollment link
Share a code for one family, or a public link when you have more inbound interest than you can enter by hand yourself.

Income reports
Monthly totals and history, not just this month's snapshot.

Unlimited students.

Pro is $12.99 a month, bought in the app and billed through Google Play. Cancel any time from the Play Store.

WHO IT IS FOR

Private music teachers of any instrument, teaching from a home studio, a school, or students' homes. Nothing in the app is specific to one instrument — you enter whatever you teach.

ABOUT YOUR STUDENTS' INFORMATION

Studio Baton holds information about students, including children, and we treat it carefully. We do not sell your data, we do not show ads, and we do not use student information to train anything. Only you can see your studio, and a family you approve sees only their own records.
