ACCESSIBILITY SERVICE (ANDROID)
No Dice uses Android's Accessibility Service API as a core part of its app-blocking feature on Android devices.

Why we use it:
When you block apps with Green Zone, Red Zone or a Scheduled Session, No Dice uses the Accessibility Service to detect when a blocked app is opened and immediately returns you to your home screen. This is how app blocking is enforced on Android.

What the Accessibility Service does:
• Monitors which app is currently in the foreground (window state changes only)
• Closes blocked apps by navigating back and returning to the home screen
• Enforces the blocking plan you set up inside No Dice

What the Accessibility Service does NOT do:
• Read or collect your messages, passwords or personal content
• Record audio or phone calls
• Change system settings without your permission
• Prevent you from disabling the service or uninstalling No Dice
• Work around Android privacy controls or notifications

Your control:
• The Accessibility Service is optional and only works after you explicitly enable it in Android Settings → Accessibility
• Before enabling, No Dice shows a clear in-app disclosure explaining why the permission is needed
• You can turn the service off at any time in Android Settings → Accessibility
• You can change your blocked apps or uninstall No Dice at any time

No Dice is not an accessibility tool for people with disabilities. The Accessibility Service is used only for the app blocking you choose to turn on.

Build better phone hygiene around the life you want. Less time pulled into apps. More time, money and attention for what matters to you.
