About this app

No Dice helps you reduce betting behavior by making better choices in the moments that matter most.

Whether you're trying to stop gambling completely or just want stronger control over the urge to bet, No Dice gives you practical tools to block betting apps, slow down impulsive unblocks, and build daily structure that rebuilds discipline over time.

KEY FEATURES

Cold Turkey mode
Block selected betting apps instantly. On Android, when you try to open a blocked app, No Dice immediately closes it and returns you to your home screen. Blocked apps stay locked until you take intentional steps to unblock inside No Dice — no quick exits in a moment of weakness.

Urge interruption flow
If you choose to unblock an app from within No Dice, you'll go through a guided checkpoint first including a calm breathing exercise and reflection prompts before you can proceed. This adds friction in the moments that matter and gives you space to reconsider.

No Dice 45 challenge
A structured 45-day program designed to help you rebuild control day by day. Each day reveals a new task across mindset work, physical movement, and habit-building practices. Complete one challenge at a time and watch your streak grow.

Track your progress
See your blocked days, completed challenges, and daily wins in one place. Visible progress makes it easier to stay on track and notice how far you've come.

Built for daily structure
No Dice is designed for people who want a practical, consistent system — not just willpower. The combination of blocking, urge interruption, and the 45-day challenge gives you a complete framework for changing your relationship with gambling.

ACCESSIBILITY SERVICE (ANDROID)

No Dice uses Android's Accessibility Service API as a core part of its app-blocking feature on Android devices.

Why we use it:
When you add apps to your block list, No Dice uses the Accessibility Service to detect when a blocked app is opened and immediately returns you to your home screen. This is how app blocking is enforced on Android.

What the Accessibility Service does:
• Monitors which app is currently in the foreground (window state changes only)
• Closes blocked apps by navigating back and returning to the home screen
• Enforces the block list you configure inside No Dice

What the Accessibility Service does NOT do:
• Read or collect your messages, passwords, or personal content
• Record audio or phone calls
• Change system settings without your permission
• Prevent you from disabling the service or uninstalling No Dice
• Work around Android privacy controls or notifications

Your control:
• The Accessibility Service is optional and only works after you explicitly enable it in Android Settings → Accessibility
• Before enabling, No Dice shows a clear in-app disclosure explaining why the permission is needed
• You can turn the service off at any time in Android Settings → Accessibility
• You can remove apps from your block list or uninstall No Dice at any time

No Dice is not an Android accessibility tool for people with disabilities. The Accessibility Service is used solely to support voluntary self-exclusion and app blocking that you choose to enable.

WHO IT'S FOR
No Dice is built for adults who want to take back control over their betting behavior. Whether you're early in your recovery, breaking a long-standing habit, or simply want to reduce how often you place bets, No Dice meets you where you are.

WHY NO DICE WORKS
Most gambling apps are designed to keep you engaged. No Dice does the opposite — it adds friction in the moments that matter, replaces impulsive decisions with intentional ones, and gives you a clear daily path forward.
Discipline isn't about restriction. It's about creating systems that make better choices easier. No Dice is that system.

Start your 45-day challenge today and take the first step toward clarity, discipline, and control.
