Jetting Max Kart for Rotax

Jetting Max Kart is an application which provides, using temperature, altitude, humidity and atmospheric pressure values, a recommendation about the jetting configuration and spark plug to use for karts with Rotax Max Senior, Minimax, Micromax, Supermax, DD2 or Junior, which use a DellOrto VHSB 34 carb.

In order to get the weather values, the application can use the GPS to obtain the position and altitude, and the network connection to get the temperature, pressure and humidity from the nearest weather station. Nevertheless, the application can run without GPS and internet connection, in this case, the user has to give the weather data.

The application is made up of four tabs that are described next:
- Results: in this tab, the recommended main jet, needle position, air density and spark plug type values are shown. This data are calculated depending on the weather conditions and the engine configuration given in the next tabs. In addition, this tab lets to make a fine tunning adjustment to adapt to a concrete engine.
- Weather: you can set the values for current temperature, altitude, pressure and humidity. The values of this screen can be manually set or can be loaded by the application reading the data from the nearest public weather station (from the GPS tab).
- Engine: you can set in this screen the information about the engine and the track, that is, the engine type (Senior, Supermax, Junior or DD2), the spark plug brand used, the needle type, the float/pilot jet combo, the floats height, venturi (12.5 or 8.5), oil mix ratio, airbox type (new or old model) and the track type.
- GPS: this tab allows to use the GPS to get the current position and altitude, and connect to an external service to get the weather conditions of the nearest weather station (temperature, pressure and humidity)

The application works with different measure units: inHg, mb, mmHg, hPa, atm for pressure, ºC and ºF for temperature.

Kart Chassis Setup is an application that will help you set up your kart chassis analyzing some information like tyre cold and hot pressures, tyre temperatures and behaviour in corners. Using all the data that you provide the application will give you some advices about how to adjust your chassis in order to resolve any set up problem that you're suffering. For each advice, you'll find an explanation about the adjustment. The explanation is usually accompanied by pictures to be more understandable.

The application is valid for sprint (road) karts and for all classes (adult or senior, cadet, junior). It's usefull for both experienced or novice drivers. For the former, it'll be a second opinion about what's wrong with the chassis setup, and for novices it will teach them the secrets of the chassis adjustments and chassis setup.

Pressure, weight and temperature measures can be used in metric or imperial units.

KTM Jetting is an application that will help you configure the carb of your 2-strokes KTM bike to improve its performance. Using temperature, altitude, humidity, atmospheric pressure and oil-mix ratio, the app will show you a recommendation about jetting to your specific bike, so it can be usefull to get a spot-on configuration and adapt it to the weather changes.

Air Density Meter is an application which provides the air density. The input data can be set manually or can be obtained automatically from the GPS and from the nearest weather station. The air density is a valuable variable in relation to jetting. To calculate it, the application uses temperature, altitude, humidity and atmospheric pressure values.

For the jetting setup, the following values are given: main jet, needle type and clip position and pilot jet. Under the recommended main jet, the calculated real value with decimals is shown. In addition, this tab lets do a fine tunning adjustment for the main (high), needle (mid) and pilot (low) circuits to adapt the recommended jetting setup to the concrete engine. We strongly advise you to test the jetting setup and adjust these values (if necessary) to get an optimum performance. These values will be stored and used in the future sessions.
