Field Study is a somatic-education hub and global community for curious students and seasoned practitioners, created by The Class and born from the method founded by Taryn Toomey in 2011.

Unfolding through live events, digital lectures, courses, and certified training programs. The inaugural 200-Hour Certification in Somatic Education launches in Fall 2026. Available online worldwide, it is a balance of self-study lessons, recorded content, peer group sharing, and real-time interactions with The Class Teachers—all grounded in human connection and global community.

WHY FIELD STUDY

Since The Class was founded fifteen years ago, students from around the world have been asking for a deeper way in — an opportunity to immerse themselves more fully in the Method and the foundational principles that inform The Class.
