Multitask like a pro with split screen

You don’t need two tablets to use multiple apps at the same time. Try split screen to do separate tasks simultaneously, on one device. Here’s how to use split screen on your tablet, and some great apps to pair.

Split screen is a mode that lets you access two apps at once. The apps will appear side-by-side or stack vertically so you can view and utilize them both.

To access split screen, tap the recent apps icon at the bottom-left of the screen. Find the first app you’d like to use in split-screen mode and tap its icon. Select “Open in split screen view,” and you’ll see the app occupy one half of the screen. Choose your second split-screen app and you’re ready to multitask.

Drag the divider in the center to adjust each app’s share of the screen.
