Zhong’s Halloween picks

Better known by his YouTube handle of Zhong, Zhongni Zhu has grown to become one of the platform’s largest Shorts creators. His playful nature is perfect for providing alternative games to play at Halloween. We caught up with Zhong to find out what he’ll be playing this year.

It’s rare that a game lets you beat scary-looking zombies with plants. I love that there are so many wacky plants, each with unique abilities that make them suited to a certain type of zombie. Despite its cutesy appearance, you actually have to be strategic in order to survive – I never get bored of all the combinations!

As a big fan of the original, it’s great to see the extra maps and adventures that the sequel holds. I love runner games where you can focus on collecting coins and running away from a big monster. It’s the perfect game to play when I have some downtime in the day.

Based on one of the best shows of all time, it’s a big win for me to be able to act as my favorite characters. It’s a strategy game, but your focus is on survival, picking the best crew and options to protect your settlement and search for resources. You also get to experience the fear of the characters – if you like the show, you’ll really like the game.
