Multitask like a pro with split screen

You don’t need two screens to use multiple apps at the same time. Try split screen to do separate tasks simultaneously, on one device. Here’s how to use split screen on your Chromebook, and some great apps to pair.

Split screen is a mode that lets you access two apps at once. The apps will appear side-by-side or stack vertically so you can view and utilize them both.

To access split screen, click or tap and hold “Maximize” at the top right corner of one of the windows you want to see. You’ll see two arrows appear. Drag the window to the left or right window, then repeat for your second split-screen app.

Drag the divider in the center to adjust each app’s share of the screen.
