金江,男,1923年出生,浙江温州人。著名寓言作家、儿童文学作家。历任四届中国寓言协会副会长,至今共出版著作60余种。他的作品在全国和省市共获奖28次,多篇被选进大中小学语文课的教材,《过桥》被上海美术电影制片厂改编摄制成影片。金江被称为“中国当代寓言的开篇人”。我国设立曾“金江寓言文学奖”,2004年中国寓言文学研究会评出第三届“金骆驼奖”,授予金江“特殊贡献奖”。
