Several of Spencer's books have been made into movies (Publishers Weekly called one of her television deals "precedent-setting") and in 1988 she was inducted into the Romance Writers of America Hall of Fame.

Carolyn Jania is an LA-based actor/singer/writer/improviser. She is an alum of The Groundlings Sunday Company, where she has done extensive comedy character work, and she received a BA in theater from Butler University. Her passion is writing and performing original comedy songs for her comedy pop band, Schmab.
