Claude Steiner, Ph.D.,is a clinical psychologist from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, and the author of numerous books on emotional development, including Scripts People Live, Games Alcoholics Play, and The Warm Fuzzy Tale. He was a close colleague of the late Eric Berne, author of The Games People Play, and a founding member of The International transactional Analysis Association. Dr. Steiner conducts workshops on achieving emotional literacy in Europe, Latin America, Australia and the United States. He lives and practices in Berkeley and on his ranch in Northern California.
