How can I explain this glimpse into the life of one of my favourite bible teachers. I can almost guarantee it's not what you expect. I knew a tiny portion of what she had experienced, but I didn't feel it (that's the only way I can describe it). Hearing her read her memoir brought it to life, like she was sitting with me having tea. Thank you Father that you allowed her to put these words to paper and I pray it will help women and men to experience the healing they need; and the church to move forward and follow your good and divine will.

Aunt Beth, I think I can call her that now, let me into her life. The faith, pain, fears, humor, family, and more. My greatest takeaway is hope. She gives hope that I can live a faithful life to God even though I, too, am all knotted up. Through her story, she came back to God time and again, so not only can I be a faithful mess, God will be faithful to me. And love me. I laughed out loud so much. I faught back tears listening on my commute. This is one brave woman. If she can be brave through all this, then maybe so could I. At the end of the day, I still want to hear the pony story. Well done, Aunt Beth. I highly recommend this to anyone.
