KATHARINE SMYTHE has worked for The Paris Review and Radar Magazine. She attended Brown University, from which she graduated cum laude after studying under Arnold Weinstein, and Oxford University, where she studied with Hermione Lee. She earned her MFA in nonfiction from Columbia.
