Allan Ahlberg (born 5 June 1938) is a children’s author who has written more than 150 books. His best-known are collaborations with his late wife, the illustrator Janet Ahlberg, including Peepo!, Each Peach Pear Plum and The Jolly Postman. Ahlberg lives in Bath with his second wife, Vanessa. He has a daughter, Jessica, and two step-daughters, Saskia and Johanna.
