THE STORY WAS ENJOYABLE AS HIS ALL MISS MCCAFFREY'S STORIES ARE HOWEVER THE WOMAN READING THE STORY WASN'T RIGHT FOR THE STORY IF THAT MAKES ANY SENSE THE PREVIOUS BOOK THAT I HEARD WHICH WAS A GIFT OF DRAGONS WAS READ VERY WELL

The book description is wrong...The Masterharper does NOT give Menolly a hard time..he helps her! It's a wonderful story - the whole Pern series is wonderful!

I have been looking for the harper trilogy books on nook but could not find the basic set. I could find a teaching set for a teacher for one of them but I was just looking for the basic book. Glad I found this. They were one of my all-time favorite books from my youth.
