When MI6 Agent Alex Rider wakes up in a hospital, he is thrilled to be alive. Shot and left for dead by his dreaded nemesis Scorpia, Alex has survived to fight another day. And it isn’t long before that fighting begins.

When kidnappers try to snatch a boy from the very next room, Alex foils their plans—only to be kidnapped himself. The man behind the mischief is super-rich Russian businessman Nikolei Drevin, who is building Ark Angel, the first luxury hotel in space. But the project is draining him of his massive wealth, and there’s no telling what he might do to change his fortunes.

Author Anthony Horowitz’s multimillion-selling Alex Rider series reaches thrilling new heights with Ark Angel, which is full of the blistering action and slick gadgets young readers can’t get enough of.

“Horowitz is pure class, stylish but action packed ... he’s figured out that being James Bond in miniature is way cooler than being a wizard.”—The Mirror
