作者简介

M. J. Hyland is the author of three multi-award-winning novels: How the Light Gets In (shortlisted for the Commonwealth Writers' Prize); Carry Me Down (shortlisted for the Commonwealth Writers' Prize and the Booker Prize, and winner of the Encore Prize and the Hawthornden Prize); and This Is How (longlisted for the Orange Prize and the Dublin International IMPAC Prize).

Alison MacLeod has written three novels: The Changeling, The Wave Theory of Angels and Unexploded, which was long-listed for the 2013 Man Booker Prize. She is also the author of a short story collection, Fifteen Modern Tales of Attraction.

Jon McGregor is a novelist and short story writer. His novels include If Nobody Speaks of Remarkable Things, which was longlisted for the Booker Prize (making McGregor, then 26, the youngest nominee for the award) and won the Somerset Maugham Award.

K J Orr is a short story writer whose stories have won numerous awards. They have appeared in publications including Best British Short Stories 2015, the Irish Times and the Sunday Times Magazine and been broadcast on BBC Radio 4. Her first short story collection, Light Box, was published in 2016.

D W Wilson's first novel Ballistics was selected for the Waterstones 11. He has also written a collection of short stories, Once You Break a Knuckle, which was shortlisted for the Dylan Thomas Prize.
