Suspenseful and well-narrated! This book wasn't keeping me at the edge of my seat. Those stories can pressure me into turning the page faster and I tend to miss out on a few details. This had just the right amount of mystery to read leisurely... Which is difficult for me to do. I also enjoyed the narrator who was able to convey the different characters without exaggeration, that can get annoying fast. I might actually listen to this book again in the future, which is quite unlike me.

Narration by Sarah Naughton is superb. Every character transitioned easily, enabling us to understand each voice. The storyline is quite good. I didn't care for the extra "fluff" that was beyond irritating and irrelevant, especially at those crucial moments. And unfortunately, when I was a little confused, I came here to check reviews where someone totally gave away the plot. Just be careful? It's easy to spoil our experience, just because you're surprised by the ending.
