After reading the first 3, I was very disappointed that the narrator had changed for book 4 and 5. This narrator ruined the series. She speaks too slowly, I could hear her breathing and I could hear some background noise. The cutting of recording really stood out too. Such a good series (all of Blake Pierce’s series are fantastic) but the narrator really ruined the last 2 books for me. The book gets 5 stars, but deducted 2 stars due to lack of enjoyment caused by narrator.

this narrator is slow and horribly boring. after spending so many audiable hours with Keri locke and friends,I feel so let down and now on chapter five I don't even want to finish this book. I'm screaming I know who these people are because this vocalist is so one tone is yawning non exciting. I feel swindled. I wish I could get my money back. I paid full price for four and five because I became addicted. but on this book I'm ready to mark finished. sad very very sad. I'm vested in Keri,Evie,Ray, Everyone.. this is listener abuse!! Blake is an amazing Writer!! but I will not listen to this vocalist again!!! 9/11/2020

I cannot listen to this narrator... sad. slow, boring, no emotion when speaking for characters, no change in tone. everyone sounds bland. why did the narrator change 😕 this sucks.
