I enjoyed this book, it's a fake relationship, insta love story. Charley is selected as a match for the pack alpha Rafe by his guard, a bit of a blind date, but they fail to tell either party. Charley agrees to help Rafe keep his pack, but neither wants to leave the other when the deal ends but they don't know how the other feels. I enjoyed the story because it was short and to the point, there was no dragging out the story or involving too many people, and also a great introduction to the pack. I listened to this book as an audio and i enjoyed the narrator, she was clear and kept me engaged with the story.

Charley's Christmas Wolf is a fast paced, short but sweet shifter story and first in series. I liked the story well enough, but for me it felt like something was missing. I did like the characters and am interested to see if the next in series will change my mind. The audio narration was OK, but also wasn't for me.
