Jackie is on the run from a bad situation when she bumps into Trevor in a gas station convenience store. The attraction is immediate (his bear yells ‘MATE’), but the danger following her is very real. I loved Jackie’s bravery and Trevor’s protectiveness. The race to Sanctuary was INTENSE, and the happily ever after was so sweet. David Brenin does a fabulous job of narrating this story and really bringing it to life.

The character work and story line were well written making this a great start to a new series. David Brenin has done a fantastic job of breathing life into this story and made it as fun to listen to as it was to read. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This is the first story in the "Ice Age Shifters" series. This on is about Jackie and Trevor. Jackie, pregnant with a half shifter, has just escaped a pack intent on selling her baby. She is on the run and rescued by trucker Trevor. He is a shifter and an outcast in a lot of ways but such a gentleman. The attraction between them is instant. I enjoyed this story from beginning to end. I thought the narration was good and really brought the story and characters to life.
