Michael Collins flew in both the Gemini 10 and Apollo 11 space missions in the 1960s. He currently lives in southern Florida.

He has won AudioFile Earphones Awards, earned Audie nominations, and been included in Best of the Year lists by such publications as Publishers Weekly, AudioFile magazine, and Library Journal.
