DIGITAL DOWNLOAD EXCLUSIVE: CHRISTOPHER PAOLINI AUTHOR INTERVIEW INCLUDED AT THE END OF RECORDING!

Not so very long ago, Eragon—Shadeslayer, Dragon Rider—was nothing more than a poor farm boy, and his dragon, Saphira, only a blue stone in the forest. Now the fate of an entire civilization rests on their shoulders.

Long months of training and battle have brought victories and hope, but they have also brought heartbreaking loss. And still, the real battle lies ahead: they must confront Galbatorix. When they do, they will have to be strong enough to defeat him. And if they cannot, no one can. There will be no second chances.

The Rider and his dragon have come further than anyone dared to hope. But can they topple the evil king and restore justice to Alagaësia? And if so, at what cost?

This is the much-anticipated, astonishing conclusion to the worldwide bestselling Inheritance cycle.

I love the Eragon series. This is the first audio book I've tried, and I have to say, the narrator is horrible. Sapphira is a female dragon, yet the narrator gave her a gravelly male voice? This was a total waste of money.

this series has always been one of my favorites. The twist he did at the end with Eragon leaving Arya had me in tiers. don't know why but just leaving someone you love and not knowing when you are going to see them just hits a personal spot. This book series is amazing and I couldn't recommend anything better!

I found the series to be exceptionally well written and engaging. I honestly felt for the characters. The author's gift for understanding gender, age, time period, anatomy of humans and creatures is over the top. A well researched visual experience for the reader/listener. Timing is perfect and flows. He keeps his word believable - i.e. we will find out eventually, his mini cliff hangers. One of the best series for me in the past 10 years. Narrator was great. I did cringe whenever the dragon spoke however, yes, sounded like batman. Maybe more Katherine Hepburn style. Perhaps the chest cavity and vocal chords being large in a dragon encourages the guttural sound. Also, battles were a bit too long, too many and to gorey for me. I am from a different generation tho. The horrific magicians were so believable. Great job on this series. Wonderful author. Left me wanting more.
