The narrator uses an overly breathy and slow tone which grated on me from the first words. I did appreciate her portrayal of Hans' voice though. The story itself is pure sweetness, with none of the sense of danger or urgency which the traditional Scheherezade has (telling stories every night to keep herself alive).
