I couldn't even finish this book so take my review with a grain of salt. The author's depiction of the female characters in this book was so blatantly absurd I could not get myself to finish it. At one point he described one of the female characters as "every man's wet dream." Also any time the protagonist was eating she was having a salad which is a strange thing to remember I know but you will too with how often it will happen. If the author was attempting to reach a female audience they should have traveled back to the 90s.

Dennis Lehane is the author of thirteen novels—including the New York Times bestsellers Live by Night; Moonlight Mile; Gone, Baby, Gone; Mystic River; Shutter Island; and The Given Day—as well as Coronado, a collection of short stories and a play. He grew up in Boston, MA and now lives in California with his family.

Julia Whelan is a screenwriter, lifelong actor, and award-winning audiobook narrator. She graduated with a degree in English and creative writing from Middlebury College and Oxford University. While she was in England, her flirtation with tea blossomed into a full-blown love affair, culminating in her eventual certification as a tea master.
