His goal for us is not a trouble-free life but transformation, to be molded through experience into a faithful, obedient, and refined disciple of Jesus Christ. Such transformation takes time and can be painful, but God knows just what it takes to get us there. He did it with Moses, and he can do it with us.
About the author
Dr. Don Baker is a minister at large for the Conservative Baptist Association of America. He travels extensively in the United States and abroad ministering in churches and missionary conferences. Dr. Baker has pastored churches, in Oregon, California and Illinois for more than thirty-eight years. He presently resides with his wife, Martha, in West Linn, Oregon. His books include Beyond Forgiveness, Beyond Choice, Beyond Rejection, and Thank-You Therapy.
Raymond Todd is an actor and director in the theater as well as a poet and documentary filmmaker. He plays jazz trombone for the Leatherstocking quartet, an ensemble that gets its name from one of his favorite Blackstone narrations, The Deerslayer. Todd lives in New York.
