it reminds me of an old fish wife that likes to find mischief. The Bible is an interpretation and we're not interested in this person's view but in what the Bible is written. giving his own views only makes the Bible more complicated and disturbing. it's hard enough to know what people think yesterday let alone people who think and were around in the first century or before. the Bible was put into publication in 1585 many words were changed at this point. the dead sea screws are the best we have being the oldest words of God

A good chunk of this book will only make sense if you have already read the Bible but there is a very different perspective on what is actually read in the Bible. think of this as an interpretation of what's in the Bible but you can apply some of the things in this book even if your not religious

Awesome book! It is the first one I've ever read of Moody and my only regret is not reading it sooner!
