About this audiobook

He’s a West End blueblood. She’s an East End cop. When they met, it was murder.

“I loved this book! Great characters, great story! I was charmed by the interesting mix of personalities, and then unexpectedly Tony, Kate, Paul, Lady Margaret and others became real people to me - people I cared about. I lost track of me and fell into the story. That is what a great book does to one. I am purchasing the entire series!” —from Reader Review

“I absolutely love the Hetheridge series and have been waiting on pins and needles for another installment!” —From Reader Review

Lord Anthony Hetheridge, Chief Superintendent for Scotland Yard, has made a name for himself catching killers—a name all his own, apart from his hereditary title. On the cusp of his sixtieth birthday, the wealthy lifelong bachelor has it all—until DS Kate Wakefield upends his elegantly ordered world. The divide should be insurmountable—age gap, wealth gap, and a class gap wider than the Thames. But as Hetheridge, Kate, and his protege, DS Deepal “Paul” Bhar, investigate the brutal murder of a financier, he finds himself falling in love with Kate—even as the clues lead to a secret from his own past.

The Lord & Lady Hetheridge Mystery Series follows Lord Anthony Hetheridge, DS Kate Wakefield, and DS Paul Bhar as they tackle the trickiest murders of all: those involving London’s rich, aristocratic, famous, and infamous.

Download Ice Blue now to experience the New York Times and USA Today bestselling series filled with unforgettable characters, witty dialogue, and surprises that will keep you reading into the night.

London, British-detective, British-humor, law-enforcement, class-consciousness, friendship, friction, laugh-riot, procedural***** If you're expecting a good but standard police procedural, you get the good and procedural right. But this one is so much more fun (bordering on farce)! The title refers to DCI/Baron Hetheridge's eyes, and the co-conspirators in his department are a Cockney DS with home problems and a Britisher whose parents are from Colonial India. And the murders involve those of "privilege". I laughed myself silly with it all! I'm from Wisconsin, so I really appreciated the efforts of voice actor Matthew Lloyd Davies to help me with easy differentiation of characters in the audio.
