This book is a concoction of family drama, romance, dual timelines and multiple POVS and I couldn’t get enough of it. The family history among the Pavlin’s sisters and the complicated relationship with their family’s jewelry empire provided drama and the switching between timelines was smartly written. The multigenerational love stories among the Pavlin family members was also refreshing to read. I loved every one of the sisters’ and niece’s stories and the complexities of love.

Jamie Brenner is the author of six novels, including Blush and The Forever Summer. She grew up in suburban Philadelphia on a steady diet of Jackie Collins and Judith Krantz novels, and later moved to New York City to live like the heroines of her favorite books. Jamie now divides her time between Philadelphia and Provincetown.
